The Hobbiest
In 1972, John North Sr. and his wife Bernice moved from Michigan to West Palm Beach, after retiring from his engineering job at Ford Motor Company. John had fond memories of working with his father on different furniture repair projects, so he pursued learning the craft of wood finishing with a friend who was a finisher by trade. In 1981, the Norths decided their hobby could be profitable and established Norths Furniture Restoration, Inc.
Torch Passed
Over the years, the Norths continued to learn and perfect their craft. John Sr. and Bernice retired in 2001, passing the operations on to their son, John David, and his sons, who run the business today.
